The core principle is to use LED lamp beads that act as pixels. The lamp beads leave gaps between each other so that light can penetrate through them. The higher the resolution, the smaller the gaps, but the transparency decreases. Therefore, a transparent screen can never achieve 100% transparency, and its transparency is generally within the range of 30% to 70%.
There are two types of display screens on the market, one is LED transparent screen and the other is LCD transparent screen. LED transparent screens have the obvious characteristics of high brightness, relatively low cost, and are suitable for use in indoor and semi-outdoor environments. The picture quality of LCD transparent screen is more delicate, but its price is much more expensive than LED transparent screen, and the installation environment requirements are also high.

On the one hand, they can protect the cultural relics, and on the other hand, they can superimpose text descriptions and animation demonstrations, thus improving the visiting experience to a great extent.

How to choose a transparent screen without stepping into pitfalls
When purchasing a transparent screen, don’t just focus on the parameters. Be sure to clarify in advance the specific scene of use, whether it is used indoors or outdoors. The requirements for the two are completely different. If it is used outdoors, you must also consider factors related to waterproofing and sun protection. If the brightness is insufficient, the screen will not be able to be seen clearly in broad daylight.
The location of the installation is also of vital significance. The rear of the transparent screen must not be completely dark, otherwise the effect of the screen will be greatly reduced. The best situation is that there are exhibits on display behind it or there is a bright background. In this state, the effect of light transmission can be achieved to a good extent.
Power supply needs to be planned in advance, and heat dissipation also needs to be planned in advance. You must not wait until after the installation is completed to realize that the wires cannot be arranged properly.
Don’t buy off-brand products just for the sake of cheapness. You must know that the lamp beads and control system of a transparent screen are the key points. A poor-quality transparent screen will have dead lights or blurred screens after a short period of time. At that time, its maintenance cost will be higher than buying a good-quality product. Therefore, you should choose manufacturers with actual cases and after-sales guarantees, and pay more attention to the effects of their actual installation.
