What to do if the brightness is not enough
When the brightness is insufficient, the first thing to do is to comprehensively investigate various factors that cause this problem, such as checking whether the lighting equipment is operating properly, whether the bulb is damaged or aging, whether there is any fault in the lighting circuit, etc. At the same time, we should also pay attention to the impact of environmental factors on brightness, such as whether there are obstructions that hinder the spread of light, and whether the space is too closed to effectively diffuse the light. Displays that do not have automatic adjustment functions will have many problems. During the day, the screen content may become difficult to see. At night, the brightness may be too high to irritate the eyes, causing disturbance to surrounding residents, and complaints are common.
How to choose the waterproof level
LEDs used outdoors are extremely sensitive to entering water. Even if it's just a little bit of light rain, as long as the seal is sealed, if there is a slight leak, water vapor will get in through this hole, which will cause a short circuit between the lamp beads, which will then lead to bad pixels. If it is serious, the entire screen will have to be scrapped. Its waterproof level must be judged according to the IP protection standard. When used in an outdoor environment, the waterproof level must reach at least IP65. This shows that this outdoor LED has a dust-proof function. At the same time, it can also withstand the impact of water spray. There once was a customer who installed a screen with an IP65 rating on the roof of a building without any obstruction. Since then, this place has been hit by typhoons and rains, but the screen is still able to operate normally and is in a normal operating condition.
During the actual installation process, special attention should be paid to the waterproofing of the joints. Many displays have a waterproof level that meets the required standards. However, during installation, the frames are not properly sealed, causing rainwater to flow into the joints along the gaps. Therefore, it is best to arrange for a specialized installer to apply special waterproof glue to the joints, and to regularly check whether the sealing strips have aged or cracked. In addition, a suitable drainage design is particularly important. Drainage holes should be reserved on the back of the screen to prevent condensation from gathering inside.
The scale of outdoor LED investment is not a small one. It can range from tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands. Only by selecting the correct parameters can the equipment be used for a long time. The key here is that the brightness meets the standard. Only when the brightness reaches the standard can the display content be clearly seen; the waterproof performance must be in place to ensure that the equipment operates normally and will not stop working due to failure.
